Apple-Pumpkin Butter

Ingredients
- 1 C. apples, peeled, cored and pureed
- 15 oz. pumpkin, canned
- 1 C. apple cider
- 1/2 C. dark brown sugar
Directions
Place all ingredients in a saucepan. Slowly bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring frequently for 1 1/2 hours. Cool before serving. Store in the refrigerator.
Yield: about 2 1/2 cups
