Apple Salsa
Ingredients
- 2 Granny Smith apples
- 2 red apples
- 1 pear, peach or plum
- 1 can light cherry pie filling
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 tsp. brown sugar (more if needed)
- Optional:
- 1 dried prune or apricot
- raisins or dried cranberries
Directions
Peel apples and other fruit. Put dried fruit in food processor and chop finely. Add 1/2 can cherry pie filling to food processor and pulse (do not puree!). Add apples slowly. Empty into bowl. Add pineapple, cinnamon, and sugar and stir. Put in fridge to chill.
