Artichoke Canape

This appetizer will impress your family. You can even prepare it early and refrigerate it. Just bake before serving.

  • 1 C. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 loaf white or rye bread, sliced
  • 1 14-oz. can artichoke hearts

Mix mayonnaise and cheese in a small bowl. Trim crusts off bread and cut each slide into four pieces. Drain artichokes and cut into sixths. Place one artichoke on each piece of bread and cover with 1/2 tsp. mayonnaise mixture. Place canapes on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown.
