  • 2 deep dish pie shells (about 9"), unbaked
  • 1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 C. cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbs. butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 C. milk
  • 1/2 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Sautee onions in butter in a skillet over medium high heat until clear. Place bacon, onions and cheese in pie shells. Mix eggs, milk, flour, salt and pepper in a bowl. Pour egg mixture over ingredients in pie shells. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until quiche is stiff. If you desire, top with additional cheese.
