Bacon Egg and Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients
- 2-4 pieces fried bacon
- 2 pieces raisin bread (preffered but any other kind of bread will do)
- 2 eggs, to be fried
- salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 oz. purple onions, to be caramelized.
- 1 1/4 tsp. olive oil
- 2 tsp. feta cheese
- parmesan cheese (if desire)
- Dollop of grey poupon mustard
Directions
Just like a croissant sandwich at a fast food place:
Fry up strips of bacon, and toast the bread. Caramelize the purple onions in 1 tsp. olive oil and fry the egg in 1/4 tsp. olive oil.
Take a few of the onions and let them sit in the egg as it cooks. Spoon remaining onions onto sandwich after egg is placed.
Spoon on feta and parmesan cheese, and dollop of Grey Poupon.
