  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 C. milk
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 2 small onions, sliced
  • 6 cooked bacon strips, crumbled

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Melt the butter in a small pan and add the flour and salt. Slowly add the milk and bring the mixture to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes until thickened. Layer the potatoes and onions into a baking dish and pour the white sauce on top. Bake for 1 hour 10 minutes until the potatoes are tender. Sprinkle the bacon on top and serve.
