Bacon Swiss Meatloaf
Ingredients
- 12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled, divided
- 1/2 C. milk
- 1/2 C. soft bread crumbs
- 1 1/2 C. Swiss cheese
- 1/2 Tbs. garlic powder
- 1/2 Tbs. onion powder
- Salt & pepper
- 1.5 lbs. ground beef
- Topping:
- 1/4 C. BBQ sauce
- 1/2 C. Swiss
- Reserved crumbled bacon
Directions
Mix together milk, bread crumbs, Swiss cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Reserve a few Tbs. of the crumbled bacon; add the rest to mixture. Crumble up ground beef on top and mix all together; form into loaf and place in baking pan.
Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Top with BBQ sauce, reserved bacon and Swiss cheese and bake for 10 more minutes.
