Bacon-Wrapped Blue Cheese Filled Dates
Serving Size / Yield
- 1 lb. applewood smoked bacon slices, cut in half
- 5 oz. blue cheese
- 1 tsp. heavy cream
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 lb. pitted dates
In a bowl, whisk the cheese, cream, and salt and pepper. When the mixture is fluffy, spoon into a zip-top bag and snip the end off. Pipe into the pitted date. Wrap a half-slice of bacon around the date. Use a toothpick to secure the dates.
Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp. Flip the dates halfway through for even browning.
