  • Filet Mignon:
  • 1 filet mignon
  • 1 slice of bacon
  • Salt
  • Gravy:
  • ½ stick butter
  • ¾ C. onion, chopped
  • 2 T. flour
  • 1 C. chicken broth
  • 1 T. heavy cream
  • Salt

For the filet mignon wrap the filet with the slice of bacon. Sprinkle salt on each side. Brown it in a saucepan for 5 minutes on both sides. For the gravy take a saucepan. In the saucepan, melt the butter. Add in the chopped onion and let them caramelize. Meanwhile, whisk together the flour, chicken broth, heavy cream and salt to taste. Add the mixture into the heated saucepan with the caramelized onions. Serve with peas, carrots and mushrooms. Enjoy!
