Set the grill to low heat and wrap one slice of bacon around each hot dog. Use a toothpick on each end of bacon to secure them on the hot dogs, pushing the picks in as far as you can so they don’t burn. Grill the hot dogs for 8-10 minutes, turning the hot dogs every few minutes so the bacon is fully cooked. In a skillet, heat the butter over medium heat and add the thinly sliced jalapeno and sliced onion. Sauté for 8 minutes. Place the hot dogs wrapped in bacon in the buns and top each with onions. Add any or all toppings.
