Sweet baked apricots with brown sugar make a great Thanksgiving side dish or dessert!

Serving Size / Yield

6-8 servings

Ingredients

  • two 16-oz. cans apricots
  • 3/4 C. brown sugar
  • 1/2 C. cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 C. margarine, melted

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Place 1 can of apricots as the first layer in an 8x8 inch baking dish.  Sprinkle on apricots, brown sugar, and cracker crumbs.  Make another layer of apricots, brown sugar, and cracker crumbs.  Drizzle melted margarine over all.  Bake for 30 minutes.

    Thanks for pointing out that I forgot to mention what to do with the next can of apricots- I just added it to the recipe. And I usually use just a little bit of the juice for moisture.
