  • 1 pkg. macaroni noodles
  • 1 egg
  • 2 C milk
  • 2 Tbs. butter, melted
  • 2 1/2 C shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Bread crumbs, for topping
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

In a pot filled with salted water, cook the macaroni for 5 minutes, until half-cooked.

In a bowl, whisk the egg and milk. Add butter and cheese and stir well.

Place the macaroni in the baking dish. Pour the egg and cheese mixture over the macaroni, season with salt and pepper, and stir.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the top is brown.

Serve warm and top with bread crumbs.
