Baked Macaroni And Cheese

- 1 pkg. elbow macaroni
- 1 egg
- 2 C milk
- 2 Tbs. butter, melted
- 2 1/2 C shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Bread crumbs, for topping
- Nonstick cooking spray
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the macaroni for about 5 minutes until half-cooked.
In a bowl, whisk the egg and milk. Add butter and cheese and stir well.
Place the macaroni in the baking dish. Pour the egg and cheese mixture over, Season with salt and pepper and stir well.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the top is brown.
Serve warm and top with bread crumbs, if desired.
