Ingredients

  • 1/2 C. balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 C. chicken broth
  • 1/4 C. brown sugar, packed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 skin-on chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley

Directions

Combine the vinegar, chicken broth, brown sugar, and garlic in a small bowl. Season the chicken with basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Put the chicken in a slow cooker and stir in the balsamic mixture. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Once the chicken reaches 165 degrees internally, remove it and garnish with parsley. You can serve the chicken immediately or wrap it and freeze for up to a month.
