Store bought marinades and dressings often have a lot of sodium and are unhealthy. Making your own balsamic marinade or salad dressing is so easy and is much healthier and cheaper than buying it bottled at the store!

Serving Size / Yield

3/4 C. marinade


  • 1/4 C. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 C. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 Tbs. Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

Whisk all of the ingredients in a bowl until well incorporated
The ingredients can be changed according to taste
Any unused portions can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days
Use for lamb, beef, chicken, vegetables or as a salad dressing
