Balsamic Mushrooms

Try this great side the next time you entertain.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 C. olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 Tbl. balsamic vinegar
  • 3 Tbl. white wine
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Sauté the garlic in olive oil for 1-2 minutes. Do not brown the garlic. Add mushrooms and cook 2 more minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in balsamic vinegar and wine and cook another 2 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Makes 4 servings.
