Banana Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 C. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 1/4 C. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 lg. egg
- 1/2 cup mashed banana (about 1 medium)
- 2 1/4 C. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 C. uncooked oats (quick-cooking or old-fashioned)
- 2 1/2 C. Nestle Peanut Butter & Milk Chocolate Morsels (or 1 1/4 cup each chocolate and peanut butter chips)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and banana. In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda, and salt, then blend into the creamed mixture. Add the oats and mix well, then stir in the peanut butter and chocolate chips. Drop Tbs. at a time on ungreased cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes until just set. Do not overbake. Cool 1 minute on the cookie sheets, then move to wire racks to cool completely.
