Banana Cream Pie
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C. milk
- 7 level Tbs. flour
- 3 Tbs. butter
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 Tbs. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 bananas
Directions
Cream flour and butter over heat, and add milk gradually. Cook until thick. Then pour in beaten egg yolks, add sugar and vanilla. Fold in sliced bananas and pour into baked pie crust. Cover with meringue made of remaining 2 egg whites and a little sugar beaten stiff. Put in oven until meringue is a golden brown. Cool and serve.
