Banana Pecan Bread
Ingredients
- 2 C. butter
- 1 C. sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 C. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbs. water
- 4 large very ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 C. pecans, chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 1 loaf pan. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then add eggs. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Dissolve baking soda in water and mix with bananas. Stir into the batter. Add pecans. Place batter into greased pan. Bake for 60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
