Bananas are full of the essential potassium which assists in muscle contraction and in maintaining fluid and electrolyte balance in body cells.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 6 mint leaves
  • 1 lime, grated (the zest (peel) only)
  • 1 Tbs. honey
  • 1 C. nonfat milk
  • 4 ice cubes

Directions

Place banana in blender and puree until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend until slushy.
