Banana Split Cake

This banana split cake is very rich!

Ingredients

  • 1 yellow or banana flavored cake mix
  • 1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 pkg. instant banana or vanilla flavored pudding mix
  • 1 C. milk
  • 4 bananas
  • 1 can crushed pineapples
  • 1 8-oz. container Cool Whip
  • 1 jar cherries
  • walnuts, crushed (optional)

Directions

Bake cake according to package directions in a greased and floured 11x17-inch or 9x13-inch pan. To frost: With a mixer, mix cream cheese, pudding mix, and milk. Beat the mixture until smooth, and then spread over cake. Slice 4 bananas lengthwise, spread over cake. Drain pineapples, spread them over the bananas. Top with Cool Whip and nuts. Slice the cherries (drain the juice off first), lay on top of cake. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight, it's best if left overnight.
