Bananas Foster Bread Pudding
Ingredients
- 1/2 C. butter
- 1 1/2 C. brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 loaf French bread, crumbled (1 lb.)
- 2 C. heavy cream
- 1 1/2 C. milk
- 1/2 C. banana liqueur
- 1/2 C. spiced rum
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 dash vanilla extract
- 1 C. chopped pecans
- 6 bananas, sliced
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Blend in bread, cream, milk, banana liqueur, cinnamon and vanilla. Fold in nuts and banana slices. Pour into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake in preheated oven 90 minutes, until set.
