Ingredients
- 4 pounds cubed beef brisket
- 3 chipotle chilis is adobo
- 1 ¼ cups beef broth
- ¼ cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper
Directions
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the beef on both sides. Add the seared beef to the slow cooker. Blend the chilis, broth, garlic, cumin, oregano, and lime juice in a food processor and season with salt and pepper. Pour the puree over the meat and cook for 8 hours on low. Shred the meat with forks and serve.
