Barbecue Beef Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 4-5 lb. chuck roast
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1/4 C. brown sugar
- 1/4 C. vinegar
- 1/4 C. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 C. catsup
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 2 C. water
- 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place all above ingredients in heavy Dutch oven, cover and bake for 4 hours. Remove from oven and skim off fat, take out bones, gristle and fat. Shred meat with a fork and serve over hamburger buns.
