Barbecue Calico Beans

This super-easy crockpot recipe is a hearty chili-like concoction with lots of beans and smoky barbecue flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground round
  • 1 medium chopped onions
  • 1 bottle hickory smoked barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 C. prepared mustard
  • 3 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbs. soy sauce
  • 3/4 C. ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 5 or 6 cans beans of different colors and shapes

Directions

Brown meat with onions. Drain excess fat. Combine all ingredients in crock pot. Drain beans, except pork and beans or chili beans if used. Add to pot. Set it, forget it. Ready when you are.
