Barbecue Chicken Pizza

A favorite at brew pubs all over the country, this easy main dish is a natural for parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 10 oz. pkg. refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 C. shredded cooked chicken in barbecue sauce
  • 1 8 oz. pkg. shredded four or five cheese blend pizza cheese
  • 1/4 C. snipped fresh cilantro

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly grease a 15x10 inch baking sheet or jelly roll pan. Unroll pizza dough; transfer to greased pan, pressing out dough with your hands to a 12x10 inch rectangle. Build up edges slightly. Bake for 7 minutes. Remove from oven. Spread chicken mixture evenly over hot crust. Sprinkle cheese and cilantro over chicken. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.

  • Pillsbury makes really good refrigerated dough and I am fairly sure they make a frozen version. I prefer my pate brisee, but heck I have used Pillsbury and liked it for the ease and convenience.... So????? And I am NOT a baker in the least of terms.... lol.

  • I had no idea you could buy already refrigerated pizza dough,hm where do you get it and the name of the kind you use?I for the life of me can't make good dough and tryed pillsbury stuff ....
