  • 2 lb. lean ground beef (or use ground turkey)
  • 2 Tbs. brown sugar
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • Barbecue sauce
  • Grated Cheddar cheese
  • Hungry Jack Flake biscuits

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ground beef and onions and drain off the grease. Add brown sugar and barbecue sauce to make meat mixture moist but not soupy. Simmer this mixture until meat mixture is coated and set off burner. Set out biscuits until at room temperature. Form each biscuit in a medium size muffin tin. Sprinkle small amount of cheddar cheese in muffin, then meat mixture, and top with more cheddar cheese. Cook at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until muffins are slightly brown. Don't over cook or they will be tough and dry.
