  • 1 C water
  • 1 C ketchup
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 3/4 C brown sugar
  • 1/2 C vinegar
  • 2 Tbs. mustard
  • 1 Tbs. salt
  • 2 lbs. beef back ribs
  • French fries, as needed

Mix all ingredients, except ribs, in slow cooker and stir until brown sugar and salt dissolve.

Place ribs into the sauce and stir until ribs are completed covered in sauce. Cover and cook on low for eight hours.

About 15 minutes before ribs are done, follow bag instructions for French fries. Serve ribs and French fries with additional ketchup or barbecue sauce for dipping.
