Barbecued Pork and Bean Bake

Practically a whole meal in itself, all you need is a vegetable.

Ingredients

  • 2 1 lb. cans home-style baked beans
  • 5-6 lean pork chops
  • Salt and pepper
  • Topping:
  • Mustard
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. catsup
  • Sweet onion
  • Lemon

Directions

Pour the beans into a 13x9x2 baking dish. Season each chop and place them on top of the beans. Mix the topping ingredients and spread on each chop. With toothpick, attach 1 slice of onion and 1/2 slice lemon to each chop. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until chops are tender. Serve on the dinner plate with the beans on the side.
