Barn Ribs
Ingredients
- 2 lb. pork ribs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 C. unsweetened apple sauce
- 1/2 C. sugar-free maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions
Place ribs in an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for 30 minutes, drain fat from pan. In a heavy saucepan, mix apple sauce, syrup, paprika, garlic powder and cinnamon. Over medium-high heat, bring the sauce to the boiling point and continue boiling for one to two minutes. Brush pre-baked ribs liberally with the sauce. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Turn ribs and bush underside with remaining sauce. Continue baking for another 10 minutes.
