Waffles are such a classic go to breakfast meal. Top it off with basically any kind of topping and enjoy!

  • 2 C all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbs sugar
  • 3 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ C milk (or buttermilk)
  • 1 C melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: Maple Syrup, Honey, Vanilla Ice cream, chocolate syrup, jam, fruit

In bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, and baking powder then set aside.

In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs then add in the melted butter, milk and vanilla extract. Mix until everything is well combined.

Then gradually pour the liquid mixture into the flour mixture. Gently mix everything together until the batter is formed. Ensure that there are no air bubbles or clumps.

Heat up your waffle iron as directed.

Brush a little butter on the iron and pour in the batter. Let it cook until it turns golden brown.

Remove and plate.

Finish it off with your choice of topping. Enjoy!
