Bath Salts

These oatmeal and milk bath salts have the added bonus of moisturizing and soothing tired skin.

Ingredients

  • 4 C. Epsom salts
  • 3 C. Sea salt
  • 1 C. non fat dry milk powder
  • 1 C. baking soda
  • 2 C. non-instant, old fashioned oatmeal or blender
  • Optional-40-50 drops lavender essential oil

Directions

Grind the oats to a very fine powder in a food processor or blender. Mix together all the dry ingredients in a large bowl, sieving with a flour sifter as you add them. Add the lavender 10 drops at a time, thoroughly mixing it into the dry ingredients each time. Store in a covered glass jar. Use 1 C. under running water for each bath.
