This recipe is perfect for a large family, unexpected company or if you need a quick dinner. It not only tastes great but is inexpensive to make. It is also delicoius reheated as leftovers (even though I never have any leftovers!) Kids love it. My four would actually ask me to make it often and my four grandchildren are doing the same. Enjoy!

  • I don't get WHERE the two previous persons got the idea that they were the food police, but I found this recipe under 150 Low-cost Meals. It actually sounds like a pretty quick recipe that would go over well with everyone I know of and have cooked for. I swear, some people need to get a life so badly if this is all they can do. Smartalics need not reply. I'll fix it, I'll also add garlic and onion because that's how I cook, no vampires around me.

  • Oh this is funny.... because salt and pepper to taste is ..... uh... redundent. And why in the world would you use canned soup, instead of canned crushed tomatoes? Both soup and tomatoes are high in sodium.... so we can not win there. Also, I have found that if I cooke the pasta less than halfway, and use more tomatoes, sauce (no soup) and more green peppers.... NO salt.that it has a lot more flavor and less electricity to cook the pasta..... and I am thinking of trying again with UNcooked pa

  • I'm not sure how this made it into the "Low Sodium" category, because canned soups have a lot.
