  • 1 lb. lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 C. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can (2.8 oz.) French-fried onions
  • 4 potatoes, sliced

In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain. Stir in soup, milk, pepper and half of the onions. Then add the potatoes.  Lay the beef in a casserole dish and then pour the mixture on top.  Bake at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
