  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (80z) can tomatoes sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 can (15 oz) can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 8 ounces elbow pasta

Cook the pasta as instructed on box, drain and set to side. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add ground beef. Cook for 7 minutes or until crumbled and no longer pink. Add the garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes, or until golden. Stir in tomato sauce and cook for 5 minutes. Add basil and oregano, bringing to a simmer, stirring occasionally for 15 minutes. Add beans and cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and combine with pasta.
