  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1.2 lb of beef steaks, cut into strips
  • 3 tbsp of flour
  • 1 tsp of worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp of black pepper
  • 1 tsp of basil
  • 1 c. of mushrooms
  • 1 red pepper, striped
  • 1 yellow pepper, striped

In a deep skillet, saute onions on butter for 5 minutes until golden brown. Stir in flour, pepper, basil, worcestershire sauce. Cook for another 5 to 10 minutes. Add fresh mushrooms, red and yellow peppers, and beef. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 2 hours, turning occasionally. Serve with white rice on the side.
