This entire Asian-inspired rice dish is easy to make in a single skillet with only a few ingredients! Use your choice of thinly chopped vegetables to create a tasty side dish or entree.

  • 2 C. cooked white rice
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 C. thinly sliced carrots
  • 1/2 C. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • 5 green onions, sliced

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the beaten egg. Cook 1 minute until firm and remove from the skillet. Brown the beef in the same skillet and add the carrots. Cook over medium for 10 minutes until the beef is no longer pink. Combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, and hot pepper sauce in a bowl and stir into the beef mixture. Add the onions, cooked egg, and rice and cook another 3 minutes until heated through.
