Beef Noodle Bake

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 Tbs. shortening
  • 1 11-oz. can tomatoes
  • 1 8-oz. can tomato puree
  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 C. onion, finely chopped
  • 2 C. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 beef bouillon cube

Directions

Cook noodles according to package directions. Brown beef in hot shortening. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat slowly until bouillon cube is dissolved. Stir in noodles. Pour into a great 8x12x2-inch baking dish. Bake in oven for 1 hour.
