Ingredients
- 2 2/3 C. boiling water
- 1 1/3 C. uncooked white rice
- 4 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 C. celery, chopped
- 1/2 C. onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic chopped (or 1 Tbs. minced garlic from a jar)
- one 10 3/4-oz. can condensed mushroom soup
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a covered 2-quart baking dish, combine water, rice, and bouillon; set aside. Brown meat in a skillet, drain, and stir in celery, onion, and garlic; cook until tender. Add soup and pepper, mixing well, then add mixture to baking dish, stirring together well. Cover and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
