  • 3-4 pork hocks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup beer
  • ΒΌ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon peppercorn
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 leek
  • parsley root
  • 1 carrot, peeled
  • 1 bay leaf

In a bowl, mix the beer and honey together. Heat the oil in a large skillet and fry the meat on each side until browned. Combine the remaining ingredients. Place the hocks into the crockpot and pour in the beer mix over the meat. Season with the mixed ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until tender. Serve and enjoy.
