  • 2 C. flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 C. beer
  • 1 C. oil

Slice onions into rings, 1/2 inch thick. Set aside. In a bowl, mis together flour, egg, garlic powder, cayenne, and salt. Add beer and stir until thick. In a large skillet, heat the oil. Dip each onion ring into the batter. Fry them individually, browning each side until crispy. Let cool on paper towels and serve.
