Add some pep to your burgers with these bell pepper sliders! The arugula and peppers work hand in hand to give your meal that extra oomph, perfect for any summer party.

  • 1 Sliced Red Pepper
  • 1 Sliced Yellow Pepper
  • 1 Sliced Orange Pepper
  • 4 Ounces of Arugula
  • 1 Pound of Ground Beef
  • 1 Dozen Small Buns
  • 1 Diced Onion
  • 1 Tablespoon of Ketchup
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon of Pepper

To begin, combine the ground beef, onion, ketchup, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix until everything is evenly distributed. You can either do this with a fork or with your hands (making sure to wear gloves)! Shape the meat into 12 equally-sized patties.

On a grill set to a medium heat, cook the sliders for about 4 minutes on each side until they are medium-rare, or longer if you prefer. To help keep the sliders from sticking to the grill, you can brush some olive oil on the grate. If you want to grill your peppers, as well, wrap them in tinfoil with a little olive oil and set them on the grill 1-2 minutes.

Now, place some arugula on the bottom halves of the buns and stack the patties on top. Add the bell peppers and some more arugula before finishing your sliders by adding the top buns.
