Best Ever Sloppy Joes
Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground chuck meat
- 2-3 Tbs. ketchup
- 1 tsp. yellow mustard
- 1 C. shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 med. onion, diced
- 1 Tbs. vegetable oil
- 6 hamburger buns
Directions
Saute onion in 1 tsp vegetable oil. Drain and set aside. Brown ground chuck until lightly browned. Drain off excess oil. Add sauteed onions back in the pan. Add ketchup and yellow mustard. Mix and heat until completely cooked together.
Top bottom half of the hamburger buns with meat mixture. Then top with grated cheese and sit under the broiler until cheese is bubbly. I like to toast the top buns at the same time. Serve with frozen baked French fries.
