  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 1/4 C. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 lb. granny smith apples, peeled, thinly sliced
  • 2 T. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat your oven to 425°F. Remove pie crust from container and unroll it onto a lightly floured surface. Roll out the dough enough to slightly hang over a 9-inch pie pan. Place the dough in your pie dish and pinch the edges to fit the side of the pan. In a large bowl, toss together the apples, sugar and cinnamon. Layer the apples in a pinwheel arrangement, working from the outside edge to the center. Bake for 30 minutes. In a small microwavable bowl, mix your honey and vanilla. Place in microwave for 40 seconds. Brush honey mixture on top of your pie and serve warm.
