Better Than Wendy's Breaded Chicken and Bacon Burger

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- 3⁄4 C flour
- 1⁄2 tsp onion powder
- 1⁄4 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten with 1/3 cup water
- 2 C breadcrumbs
- Olive Oil
- 4 slices swiss cheese
- 1/2 onion, chopped into rings
- 4 bacon strips, cooked.
- 4 seeded buns.
Beat chicken breasts with a mallet.
Combine the flour, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper in one bowl, place the egg and water mixture into a second bowl, and the bread crumbs into a third. Roll chicken breasts with seasoned flour and dip in egg mix, shaking off excess coating.
Coat chicken breasts with crumbs, pressing crumbs deep into meat.
Heat oil in frying pan on medium-high, and cook breast for 4 minutes on each side. Serve on buns with swiss, lettuce, bacon and onion slices.
