  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 1/3 cup of dried bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup + 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • 1/4 cup chives, chopped
  • Garlic salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon, juice
  • 1 tbsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 pieces bibb lettuce

In a large bowl, make patty base. With clean hands or a potato masher, mix your crab meat, whisked egg, bread crumbs, 1/3 cup mayo, chives. season generously with salt and pepper. Form this into four patties.

Heat your oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook your patties until they’re a lovely golden brown. Give them about 5 minutes per side.

Meanwhile, make your super secret sauce. Combine your 3 tbsp mayo, lemon juice, and Old Bay seasoning. Feel free to also add some salt.

Finally, serve your crab cake burgers on buns with lettuce and super secret Old Bay sauce.
