Bisquick Sausage and Egg Breakfast Balls

- 1 pound mild sausage, loose, not linked
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 cups of Bisquick baking mix
- 16 ounce shredded cheddar cheese
Mix the sausage, egg and Bisquick together. Add the shredded cheese. Roll into small balls, a little smaller than a golf ball. They will expand as they cook. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees. Cook until golden brown, usually about 15-18 minutes. Serve the balls warm. A good condiment could be ketchup for a savory effect or warm maple syrup for a sweet breakfast taste.
