  • 1 ½ cup cooked quinoa
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 6 sun-dried tomatoes, drained and diced
  • 1½ cups cooked black beans
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. steak seasoning
  • 8 whole-grain hamburger buns

Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet with cooking spray. In a skillet, sautee the onion and sun-dried tomatoes until onions are soft. Add in the beans, garlic, seasoning, and 1 ½ cups water. Simmer until the liquid is evaporated. Pour the mixture into a food processor and blend until smooth. Allow it to cool, then form the mixture into 8 patties and place on the sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, flip, and back an additional 10. Serve on whole grain buns with desired toppings.
