Black Bean & Sausage Soup

Ingredients
- 1 lb. hot sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- two 14-oz. cans chicken broth
- two 15-oz. cans Mexican stewed tomatoes
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- two 15-oz. cans black beans, rinsed and drained
Directions
In a large skillet, break up sausage and brown with onion. Drain off fat and place in a large slot cooker. Add chicken broth, stewed tomatoes, bell pepper, black beans, and 1 cup water. Cover and cook on low for 3-5 hours.
