Black Bean Soup with Ground Beef

Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 C. celery, sliced
- two 14-oz. cans beef broth
- one 15-oz. can Mexican stewed tomatoes
- two 15-oz. cans black beans, rinsed and drained
Directions
In a skillet, brown beef until no longer pink. Place in a 5- to 6-quart crockpot. Add onions, celery, broth, stewed tomatoes, black beans, and 3/4 cup water. Also add salt and pepper to taste. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
